As Microsoft turns 50 years old, President Brad Smith sat down with KOMO’s Senior Reporter Chris Daniels for part of a wide-ranging, nearly half-hour discussion. Smith talked about how the company has evolved, the new campus, and whether employees will soon be asked to return full-time to the office. In addition, Chris asked Smith about his dealings with President Trump on issues like trade, immigration, AI, DEI, and TikTok. In addition, Smith talks about the business climate in Washington State and his worries about decisions being made in Olympia.
