While trying to elude authorities, the man rammed into a deputy with his vehicle, fled the scene, and then left the vehicle to run on foot to barricade himself inside a nearby home. Sometime after the suspect barricaded himself, more shots were fired. The suspect was shot and authorities performed life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.
